Our center is located in the Denver Public Health building at the northwest corner of 6th Avenue & Bannock Street on the
Denver Health Medical Center campus just south of downtown. (Create a

Visiting Denver
While Denver enjoys 300 days of sunshine every year, the
weather in the Mile High City can change quickly, so be prepared with layered clothing and sunscreen. Because of our altitude, we advise you to drink plenty of water and limit your caffeine and alcohol intake during your stay. For information on dining, lodging, events and attractions, the
Denver Visitor’s Bureau is a wealth of information.
Travel and Lodging
Denver International Airport is one of the busiest airports in the world. It’s also the second largest public art installation in the region, so keep your eyes open on the way to baggage claim, located on the fifth floor of the main terminal. The 20 mile trip from the airport to downtown Denver will cost about $20 by shuttle or $60 by taxi. [Photo Credit: Adam Ginsburg]
TownePlace Suites by Marriot, a modestly-appointed hotel, is one block east of our campus. Your confirmation letter will have information on special pricing available at this hotel. There are a number of
other hotels in the Downtown and
Cherry Creek North neighborhoods, which are short drives to our campus.
Driving and Parking:
From I-25, take the 6th Avenue East exit to Bannock Street. We are inside the building marked
Denver Public Health (605 Bannock Street). Follow the signs to available parking or park behind the Rita Bass Center on the southeast corner of the intersection.
